From the pages of House Beautiful to your home...

We love love love that House Beautiful featured a house that one of our customers, Lynn Morgan designed. We especially love the calls that came in about the products seen. We've gotten many about those beautiful seahorse pillows, pictured here:

Unfortunately, those pillows were accidentally credited to us, when it was only supposed to be for the green throw. However, we like to think we're pretty clever people around here so we came up with our own version of the seahorse pillow. We don't know who made them, but we'd be happy to make them for you.

I spent a few minutes on Photoshop and came up with our own design.

Not too shabby, right? I would suggest the Libeco Linen Pillow in Natural, but we can embroider these guys on pretty much any pillow we carry. I wish we could get them to be the same size as the ones pictured, but with the way our hoops work, they have to be centered on the pillow with some breathing room around them. I still think the pillow looks great, but I may be biased. Email me if you'd like to order one! It will be $75 to apply this to any pillow - take a look at all our pillows and pick your favorite. We can sew this out in any color, take a sneak peek at our new thread chart and pick you color(s) from here.

Any takers?

Blog redesign!

It's 85 degrees outside today in Savannah, and down here, that means spring, finally! It was time for some spring cleaning around this place today, starting with our blog. If you're reading this on your reader, please stop, and click on this link and our blog will (or should, at least) open up in a new window. Courtland and I sat down in front of our shiny new iMac and came up with the new look.

Pretty, right? A nice change from what we had before - more bright and airy, a little more sophisticated too.

What do you think? Like it or is the ridiculously insane amount of pollen in the air getting to our heads?

Remember this?

This was a monogram I did for a bride and groom a few weeks ago - JRM. This is what the monogram looks like before it's digitized. I created it at a high enough quality too so they can use it on their stationary - a win win situation if you ask me. I can do this for you too, just email me.

Usually people play their registries pretty safely, but this bride was a little different, which I love, and chose some brighter colors for her wedding. Take a look at some of the things I sent out in the mail last week:

Our White Linen Pillow with their wedding colors.

A pretty tip towel. This guy wasn't party of our brides order (J- let me know if you want this!) but we were embroidering everything with her monogram and we just got some neon threads in the mail, so we had to try it out, and sewed it out too use as a sample. Pretty amazing, no? We've got electric pinks, orange, blue, yellow, and green now if anyone wants to hop on the neon trend bandwagon.

Keep in mind you don't have to live in Savannah to have a registry with us. We're happy to work with you via phone or email to put together a registry on our website and design a custom monogram for you. Feel free to email me if you're interested and I'll send you all the deets.

House Beautiful

We were so excited to receive our April issue of House Beautiful in the mail yesterday! We recognized the cover immediately! It is the Savannah home of our friend, interior designer Lynn Morgan. Her gorgeous historic row house (which looks even more beautiful in person) is right around the corner from our shop. We always love seeing Lynn when she's visiting from New York. She bought some of the furniture, bedding and bath towels that are featured throughout the article from our shop. Thanks so much for including us!

I like green. I don't love it, but I appreciate it. I mean, my eyes are green so I sort of have to deal with the color. Anyhow, everyone knows it is St.Party (err, Patrick's) Day this weekend so here's my roundup of all things green that I really, really like, all thanks to Pinterest.

(can you tell I'm still obsessing over Stephanie Johnson?)

Enjoy the holiday everyone, even if you're not Irish!

Stephanie Johnson, finally!

I'll admit it, this morning was tough with the time change. It was impossible to wake up. Anyone else agree? Welp, the day turned around instantly when a big box from Stephanie Johnson showed up at our doorstep! Courtland and I have been waiting so long (ok, maybe 4 days) for our first order of these gorgeous bags and totes to come in. I have to tell you, these photos don't do the products justice. The colors are so vivid and the quality of the products is fantastic.

We mixed some of our lovely Shop Blithe bags with the newbies.

And now for a closeup, how gorgeous is the turquoise & gold iPad case? It's also only $50. Better buy one to go with the new iPad that's coming out on Friday.

These gems are probably my favorite - the Malibu collection pouches in the bright colors. I'll take one in every color, please. You can do that with these too, they're only $30 for the medium and $35 for the large. No joke.

There are so many good things happening in this photo, like the coral lamp, the pink and orange Brahms Mount throws, the Tori Kist painting, the chair that Claire's mom found...I can go on and on.

Anyhow, the point is, we're super excited to now be carrying the Stephanie Johnson line! It's not on the website yet, but if you want something you see in the photos, send us an email.

Old school.

I've been living in monogram land more than usual lately thanks to a serious demand for custom monograms (thanks to you guys!), so I've been searching for more inspiration. I don't remember where I stumbled upon these vintage images but they're all kinds of amazing, no?

With all of those in mind, I'm off to design a very stylized and swirly NPK monogram, wish me luck!

New custom designs...

So we got about 21395823 calls yesterday about custom monograms. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, but the phone was ringing all day. I figured it's time to share with you guys what all this hype is about, here's the latest custom monograms I've done before they're digitized and stitched out.

See anything you like? Send me an email and we can design one for you too. It's almost wedding season, a custom monogram would make a killer gift, no?
