We have decided to paint the wall behind the front desk a shade of Orange. It has been terribly difficult to choose a shade that is not too pink and not too red. We love the idea of decorating the wall with lots of gold and chocolate brown accessories. The photos below are some of the oranges we like the most yet we haven't met our match... We are debating between Benjamin Moore's Festive Orange, Rumba Orange, and Tangy Orange. Any suggestions?
An Hermes box was our first inspiration... Turned out too bright. But, we love the color!
The color of these chairs are a toned down version of our first attempt... "Calypso Orange". "B. Moore Festival Orange"

This weekend our herb garden was in full force. With my black thumb, I'm truly amazed when anything will grow in our yard. But we planted a raised bed in the backyard and filled it with herbs. The dill, sage, lemon verbena, basil, oregano, parsley, rosemary and thyme are doing great. The poor lavender never had a chance. But I think that's pretty good odds! All weekend we made meals with our herbs and they tasted so much better...
