Today at the shop we got in a shipment of beautiful Fouta Towels. They come in hand and bath towel sizes, all in shades of white, ivory and gray. Solids and stripes. You may be asking, what is a fouta towel?
Made of 100% natural cotton, they are hand woven the same way today that they were a thousand years ago. The fouta towel was and is traditionally used at Turkish baths.
Either at home or at the spa, the fouta towel becomes a marvelous towel after bath or shower. The more you wash it, the softer and the more absorbent it becomes.
At the beach, use it on your lounge or wear it as a pareo. At home, throw it on a sofa or use it as an innovative tablecloth.
