Belton Lane Entry Hall

I thought I'd share some pictures of the Belton Lane project I've been working on. It's been a great project with our client...who is so much fun to work with! We have gradually made it through the house and now we're down to those final touches that make it a home.

In the entry way we needed to work with the deep yellow walls and the black and crystal chandelier. So we started with a vintage metal console table and mirror we found in Florida and re-painted black. Then we added a tall marble lamp and some pretty books. A seagrass runner adds a little texture when you come in the door.

We tried three different options for a stool under the console. The first was a vintage x bench we swiped from the living room that we had recovered in a hot pink and orange print. The second option was a white lacquered stool. And the third was an caramel leather ottoman by Suzanne Kasler. Which one is your favorite? I'd love to know!

Here is the before picture from a different angle...sorry it's so blurry (from my phone!)
