A tweed chair with leather accents, a settee in Belgian linen, silk pillows with linen trim, horn cups & serving pieces, rattan baskets, cashmere throws and fig scented candles. It makes us want to have a cozy dinner party by a crackling fire!
This brass chiavari chair is the most common of its type, stemming from Italian roots.
The bamboo chiavari chair is made of wood. These are used at events such as weddings. They can be painted to coordinate with a scheme or slip covered. In some cases, ribbons, flowers, or a cushion can be added to the chair to dress it up.
This Lucite chiavari. A modern take on the traditional... very cool.
A perfect example of a chiavari chair used as a desk chair. Petite but pretty.
Every day usage... black painted chiavari chairs.
Even next to a large upholstered piece the chiavari chair has a great presence. Small in size, but large in impact. This is a photograph of Trina Turk's Palm Spring store that was designed by KWID.
Lucky for us at Number Four Eleven, Robert Redford's new movie "The Conspirator" is being filmed around the corner from the shop.

Using a room by Lynn Morgan as design inspiration, these are some ideas for a new client's living room. They have kids and need a comfy and easy space for their family. She already had a great antique pine coffee table and a dark mahogany drum table. We started with a clean lined sectional sofa slipcovered in white cotton duck.
She already had these John Robshaw pillows from the shop and she loved the colors against the white couch.
A simple jute rug for the floor.
Two gourd lamps on the console. Maybe white or indigo blue...
The room is open to the kitchen, which is primarily white with a collection of blue and white china. So we added a touch of blue and white in the porcelain stool and pillows.
Check out these beautiful new linens by John Robshaw in shades of periwinkle, coral and gray. The fabric was used as a canopy for a recent Coastal Living bedroom. The pillows and quilts are now available in our shop.
