A touch of gold.

Now that Christmas is over and New Years is just a few days away, we're in that weird period during the season when you're not sure when to take down the holiday decorations (or you're just too lazy after all that relaxing to do it so you put it off for awhile, like I do). The decor for New Years is pretty glitzy so you can still pull off white lights for awhile and keep up your standard winter decor (think anything without a red/green theme or Christmas characters). But, it'd be great to put up some decorations the day after Thanksgiving that you know will last you well into January or even further into the year.

I spent some time catching up on magazines and as I was flipping through the recent December 2011 issue of House & Home, I spotted the gold sea urchins that we sell here for $100/set and thought that they displayed them beautifully. They're the perfect accessory not only for the holiday season, but also for year round - they can add a touch of glamor to any space.

Ironically enough, we just got our order of them in today, talk about perfect timing.

I put a set up on the wall behind this uhhh-mazing headboard we had custom made (which is still for sale! $998, queen size, and there's extra fabric if you want to make a matching bedskirt).

Then I thought to switch it up and put the other set in the window, they make great desk accessories - think about using them to organize your mail and papers by sticking them between the metal sticks.

These are probably one of my favorite accessories we sell, so it's a bummer for me when they sell out so quickly! But they really do, so put your order in now here!

Because even your dog needs to have something monogrammed...

This is how things have been working around here over the past few weeks - after one of our products is monogrammed, we try to remember to always photograph it to share the finished product with the everyone, so whoever has their iPhone/Blackberry handy snaps a photo quickly then wraps the item and then it's on to the next. Repeat until you have 25 outgoing boxes full of holiday orders. We're so busy around here that sadly, sometimes these photos live on our phones for weeks until we properly post or file them. I'm working on a better system, I swear. That being said, I can't express how great it is when you see one of our items beautifully styled and photographed. So when I saw this blog post, I was one happy girl.

Thank you, Libbie Summers, for making our day by featuring two blankets that we monogrammed for you on your recent blog -  Gifts For the Spoiled Dog.

Now back to work! Lots of things to do before I take off for a few days for the holidays, but I'll be back posting next week. The store is open every day through to New Years (except Christmas day) so stop by to pick up one of those last minute gifts or a hostess gift for that New Years Eve party you've been invited to. Or, do as Libbie did and indulge your pet with his or her very own monogrammed throw!

Happy holidays!

Busy busy busy!

We've been so incredibly busy around here, hence why we've been so unusually quiet on our blog/Facebook/Twitter. Sorry about that. I have 468 unread blogs in my Google reader and I can't remember the last time I sat down at work until now. Don't get me wrong, I'm loving how busy we are during the holidays, but I figured it's only fair to properly explain our absence through photos of what's been keeping us from standing still for more than 10 seconds over the past few weeks...

Lots and lots of SFERRA cocktail napkins!

A beautiful monogrammed throw.

I love this two toned monogram design on a pillowcase!

One of our recent custom monogram orders, very pretty linen guest towels.

Another custom order, this time a duvet cover. Such a beautiful monogram done beautifully in white on white.

These Matouk Cairo Scalloped towels will make someone very happy this holiday season!

Finally, one of our classic Libeco linen pillows with a gorgeous mint colored monogram. These guys are in and out of here so quickly that I didn't even have time to properly photograph it with a pillow insert! See, I told you we've been busy.

In case you want to add to our madness, we're still accepting holiday orders! There might be a small fee but for a customized gift like the ones above, it's worth it.

Back to work!

'tis the season...

...for gift guides! This week Better Homes & Gardens so kindly featured one of our burlap totes with ties in their 2011 Christmas Gift Guide.

We're there under the Personalized Gifts from $26-$50 - the monogram style you see is called Reeve and the color is Cherry Red. Looks great, no? Thank you to BH&G for featuring us! You definitely made our day.

p.s. We're still taking orders for these bags before the holidays! We've got a big shipment of these totes coming in any second now and we'll be ready and waiting to customize one for you.

We're famous!

Just kidding. Not famous, but we kind of feel that way. Our inbox has been inundated with emails from our customers and friends because they saw our extremely popular Libeco Linen Pillow in the Holiday 2011 Gift Guide: For Home by Elements of Style!

(we're #11, obviously)

We've been loyal readers of Erin's blog for years so it's really great to see our product in one of her roundups. Huge thanks go out to Erin for this!

Now go do what she says and buy one of those lovely pillows.

Gift Guide: What to buy for that impossible-to-shop-for man in your life.

You know what I'm talking about. Dads, brothers, significant others, uncles...they're all pretty impossible to buy for unless they like golf or tools. Let me ease your pain and suggest a few manly gifts we have for those special men in your lives.

Let them never forget you while at work with one of these Burled Wood Frames
with your photo in it. Available in 4x6, 5x7, and 8x10, prices range from $25 - $45. Perfect for their desk - nothing too flashy but looks very classy. I'd suggest this gift for your investment banker grandfather or lawyer father to add to their what I can assume to be a fancy office.

For any guy, no matter where they work, this gift is perfect. Everyone is so fascinated with this Water Bottle Set. It looks like a plastic bottle but it's made of glass. You'll be saving the environment and your body from gross BPA's by using this reusable bottle.

Back to the guys with the desk jobs, we all know how messy they can be. Why not help them organize their desks and add some fun style to them too? A few guys bought some of these trays last week - they're glass decoupaged with old forms and notes from way back when. They start at $12.50, email or call us to claim yours.

Does your guy have a man cave? How about adding some style and warmth with one of these throws? They come in so many colors I'm sure you could get one for him in his favorite NFL/NHL/NBA/MLB team color. The price ($146) is kind of amazing for this wool/cashmere blend.

Now in true No. Four Eleven form, I couldn't resist a post without some kind of monogramming. Check out these glasses you can monogram for your man.

This variety of glassware is available with two different style monograms - the diamond and block style. They start at $12.50 each, which includes the monogram. Email us to order a set to spruce up their bar cart. You might want to place your order sooner rather than later as each order is custom (obviously) and we need to allow extra time for shipping.

Finally, let me just remind you that Christmas is 20 days away. Luckily for you our website is open 24/7.
