In the entry way we needed to work with the deep yellow walls and the black and crystal chandelier. So we started with a vintage metal console table and mirror we found in Florida and re-painted black. Then we added a tall marble lamp and some pretty books. A seagrass runner adds a little texture when you come in the door.
We tried three different options for a stool under the console. The first was a vintage x bench we swiped from the living room that we had recovered in a hot pink and orange print. The second option was a white lacquered stool. And the third was an caramel leather ottoman by Suzanne Kasler. Which one is your favorite? I'd love to know!
Here is the before picture from a different angle...sorry it's so blurry (from my phone!)
