Lots of new stuff has arrived for Fall! Cozy throws, trays for entertaining, patterned pillows for a little sofa update. And of course, lots of monograms have been happening around here. Come see us! www.numberfoureleven.com
These boards are for a new project I have been working on in Chicago.
These two rooms are located right next to each other.
The "blue room" will consist of two sofas facing each other as well as a long farm table where the children can spread out and do homework etc..
The gray room will be filled with bold patterns in monotone colors. This space will be a more sophisticated place to relax... filled with book shelves and cozy upholstery. It is a work in progress and I am very excited to see how it turns out... lots more to come!
A few weeks ago, we were looking for the perfect orange for a pop of color in the store. We were originally going for the color of an Hermes box. So we tried a patch of Benjamin Moore's Calypso Orange. It was so neon! Next we tried Rumba Orange... still too tangerine. Then Jeweled Peach. Then we got it perfect... Tropical Orange! It's a deep, rich color with just enough coral in it. Let us know what you think!
We have decided to paint the wall behind the front desk a shade of Orange. It has been terribly difficult to choose a shade that is not too pink and not too red. We love the idea of decorating the wall with lots of gold and chocolate brown accessories. The photos below are some of the oranges we like the most yet we haven't met our match... We are debating between Benjamin Moore's Festive Orange, Rumba Orange, and Tangy Orange. Any suggestions?
An Hermes box was our first inspiration... Turned out too bright. But, we love the color!
The color of these chairs are a toned down version of our first attempt... "Calypso Orange". "B. Moore Festival Orange"
It's been the season of baby showers around here. It made me think, what would be a fun color combo for a shower other than baby pink or blue. What about orange & blue for a boy and orange & pink for a girl? Here are some boy shower ideas...
